GARA 2 – CAMPIONATO ITALIANO

Presenti con il solo Matteo Cavallo (gli altri sparpagliati tra Francia ed Inghilterra…), e grande soddisfazione per la prestazione del giovane piemontese .

Continua il progressivo affiatamento con la sua Sherco 250 4T e, grazie ad una gara spettacolare, Matteo ha dominato la e1 davanti ad un coriaceo Oldrati , e soprattutto ha fatto registrare un 4° posto assoluto, preceduto “solo” da 3 campioni del mondo, come Holcombe, Salvini e Freeman ….. come per dire, ragazzi sto arrivando anch’io !!!!

E’ stata una gara gestita molto bene da Matteo, una volta arrivati ad un distacco “gestibile” per la vittora di classe, un ultimo giro senza inutili forzature e inutili rischi. Intanto Matteo si ritrova in testa alla categoria E1 e 5° nella assoluta, non male per un “debuttante”tra i big !

Edmondson nel frattempo vinceva l’enduro sprint in Inghilterra con MacDonald terzo, ed Espinasse terzo nella e2 in Francia, impegnato con il Team Francese.

GOOD START FOR MATTEO CAVALLO AND THEO ESPINASSE IN ITALIA !

For his first race under the Sherco banner with the CH Facing Team of Fabrizio Azzalin, the Italian rider Matteo Cavallo rode this weekend with the frontrunners on his Sherco 250 SEF Factory :

Matteo : ” It was a very tough race. Saturday 3 laps and half with 4 extreme and cross and 3 Enduro test and also a 20 minutes tight time check to repeat every lap. The terrain was full of stone, a classic Italian Enduro race. I ride pretty good for all the day fighting for the overall podium and finishing 4th at the end but I’m really happy for my first victory in Senior class. “

The bike works perfect for all the weekend. Everything was on point thanks also to the guys of CH Racing team that works very well all the time.”

Théo Espinasse decided to go in Italia too ! Objective : increase the intensity before the Enduro GP World Championship and the French Enduro Championship, both races are coming in March.

  • Saturday: Win in the Junior Class and P9 Scratch (Winner of one Xtreme-Test!)
  • Dimanche : P2 in Junior and P13 scratch.
