Rui Goncalves races in attack mode, Lorenzo Santolino rides a steady conservative pace

Sand and dunes were on the program again today for this second stage between Hail and Al Qaisumah. It was a very wet sand course because of the heavy rains of the previous days, it caused traps with big puddles on the track.

Lorenzo Santolino rode wisely and did not take any risks. He rode in a nice rhythm along with the other top riders in the Rally GP field, he played the consistency card today and preserved himself and his 450 SEF Rally. He is at his best and still very focused, he will start in 16th position tomorrow morning, a good position for the start of a new sand special.

A great start for Rui Goncalves this morning, he is our man of the day. He was the author of a very good special, he led the first part of the race and he just kept going, he finished 12th tonight at Al Qaisumah, without any penalties.

Harith Noah, who was still in some pain from his fall from the day before, rode a steady race today. Despite everything, he finished 26th for the day just 30 minutes behind the leader.

It was 700 kilometers of road today for the team assistants with a finish in Al Qaisumah which will be part of the program for the next 2 days. It is a pumped-up professional team, who have a lot of experience which allows the riders to approach each day very calmly and makes them want to give their all in return.
