ANDALUSIA RALLY: THE SHERCO TVS FACTORY TEAM RIDERS START THE RACE

It is the start of a new season for our Rally-Raid riders and there was a noticeable tension as we approached this Andalusia Rally, which comes late in the year after a long break from the 2020 Dakar.

The whole team is confident, the atmosphere in the paddock is peaceful, and the newcomers are eager to prove themselves.

Here are the results and standings after the 10 km Super Special which served as the prologue to this 2020 Andalusia Rally.

Lorenzo Santolino, P13 in this Super Special + 13s from the best time, rode well and proved that he is in good rhythm.
The testing and adjustments that have been made to the Sherco 450 RTR paid off particularly well during this very slippery first special.

The new team member, Rui Gonzalves is competing in his First Rallye-Raid race, he completed this first short special in P17 at + 16s, he was able to maintain the same pace as the leaders despite an error in a turn. Rui, welcome aboard the Sherco TVS Factory Team!

Harith Noah is discovering and adjusting to the new bike with which he has not yet had the opportunity to train this year. The new bike is equipped with a new shifting system for changing gears, it will take a few more kilometers to adapt and regain his best level. He ranks 25th at + 49s.

David CASTEU, Team Manager

The atmosphere is exceptionally good in the team, and we quickly found our marks with the new members of the team for this 2020-2021 racing season. We also have our new partner BOS with us, and they are doing a fabulous job on the suspensions.

We have developed a nice strategy for the race, and we hope to stay calm and peaceful for the entire time. We are anxious for the race to really start, because we are lacking in competition miles because of this complicated year, and we are of course keeping in sight the big race of the season, the Dakar 2021.
