JED ETCHELLS WINS SHERCO’S FIRST ENDURO GB CROWN

Motofit’s Jed Etchells delivers Sherco its first-ever EnduroGB Championship title, while Nieve Holmes completes a Sherco clean sweep as she takes her second Women’s GB Championship.

Sherco’s history in British Enduro was rewritten at the conclusion of an outstanding 2026 EnduroGB season. This landmark double gives Sherco the top honours in both Elite categories of the 2026 EnduroGB Championship, underlining the performance, competitiveness and strength of the Sherco Enduro range at the highest level of British competition.

 

JED ETCHELLS – ACU ENDURO GB CHAMPION – 300 SE 2T

Jed Etchells has been crowned 2026 EnduroGB Champion, writing his name into Sherco history as the manufacturer’s first-ever overall EnduroGB Champion.

Riding the Sherco 300 SE 2T for Motofit Racing, Jed delivered an exceptional campaign built on speed and consistency. His dominant season included seven consecutive race-day victories, establishing him as the benchmark throughout the championship and ultimately securing the coveted overall British Enduro crown.

The now two time champ, Jed Etchells:

 NIEVE HOLMES – ACU WOMEN’S ENDURO GB CHAMPION – 250SEF 4T

Completing an incredible Sherco double, Nieve Holmes won the 2026 EnduroGB Women’s Elite Championship in style giving her back to back championship wins riding for the ET James Sherco Team.

Nieve demonstrated her class with the 250 4 stroke machine all season long. After a second place finish on Day 1 of the season she then went on to win the next 11 Days of racing to dominate the series and secure championship honours.

Nieve Holmes: 

“It feels amazing to win my second British title. The ET James Sherco team has worked so hard all year and the bike has been incredible. To win the championship and help give Sherco both Elite titles is something I’m really proud of. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me this season.”

A STRONG FINISH AT THE FINAL ROUND

The final round also delivered more reasons to celebrate for Sherco, with Charlie Chater 250SE 2T securing his first EnduroGB podium of the 2026 season

Charlie has shown impressive pace and commitment throughout the year, and his podium was a fitting reward for the hard work of both Charlie and his team.

There was also a breakthrough victory for Kit Szabo aboard his Sherco 300 SEF 4T, taking his first EnduroGB win in the Expert class. It was a fantastic reward for the effort Kit has put into his season, competing at both British and EnduroGP level.
