Podium for Teodor Kabakchiev and three Shercos in the Top 10 at the Erzberg Rodeo!

Erzbergrodeo 2025 — Sherco Steps onto the Podium

Eisenerz, Austria – June 2, 2025

The 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo once again proved why it’s the toughest extreme enduro race on the planet. With over 1,200 riders from more than 50 countries, only 14 managed to cross the finish line within the 4-hour time limit. And this year, Sherco made a powerful statement with a podium finish and three bikes in the Top 10.

Teodor Kabakchiev Earns First Erzberg Podium

Sherco Factory Racing’s Teodor Kabakchiev delivered a stellar performance to claim 3rd place in this year’s edition. Always inside the top 6, he made his move in the Motorex Highway section and held strong to the finish after a thrilling battle with Brightmore.

“I’m proud to have reached my first Erzberg podium. It’s probably the most technical race in the world, and I proved to myself that I have improved and can be strong also in technical races. The bike was great and held strong all the way to the finish line” — Teodor Kabakchiev

Mario Roman – Fighting Spirit to P7

After a great prologue (P13) that secured him the first lane on sunday, Mario Roman had a rough start in the main race, falling outside the top 20. But the Spanish rider fought back to finish 7th, despite losing time in Carl’s Dinner. As a reminder, he was P3 last year.

“Not the Best erzberg rodeo for me, starting very well one of my best prologues in 10 year starting with Number 13 which is very good, then not good start on main event make me strugled a Lot to over pass riders and when i was Behind teo in carls dinner i Did a mistake loosing a Lot of energy. Then afterwards felt great in the bike i recover some positions and got finish 7.
Positive with All What happened. And always Special feeling To finish this race in one piece..” — Mario Roman
