Sherco is celebrating its 10th year in the production of trials motorcycles and to commemorate this outstanding accomplishment, have decided to release an exclusive limited edition model which will be available in both 2T and 4T versions. Both models benefit from a special tax discount because they exceed the current CO2 emission regulations, the emission levels of these motorcycles fall below the allowed maximums. In addition to the special price that these models will receive because of this discount, those who purchase them will acquire an exceptional and unique motorcycle at a very attractive price
The new Sherco 10th anniversary edition is a tribute to the brand and to all of the many models that have left the factory in Montbui these past 10 years. The graphic design is very elegant and is complimented by the frame which is finished in an attractive gray color and produces a very pleasing effect. The body is smooth and streamlined and includes the colors that have been associated with the company throughout these first ten years; they include red, yellow and black.
At the technical level the new Sherco 10th anniversary edition hides few secrets. The high technical level of all of the models produced by the company has generated a high degree of trust in the quality of the components used to produce the current units. These new machines utilize most of these same components and will have that same high quality level. The 3.2 4T model will include all of the recent technical developments implemented SPS (Sherco Prompt System) by the design group and will provide the user with a motor that will fully meet all of their varied requirements. Between the two models, 2T and 4T, there will be a total of 200 units produced; each of them will be identified with a unique number on the chassis. These new motorcycles will be available at local dealers in the very near future.

Ambos modelos se benefician del descuento del impuesto de matriculación, debido a su certificación oficial de emisión de CO2 que situan a las Sherco muy por debajo del nivel máximo permitido. Además del consistente ahorro que ello supone en el precio final de la moto, los que se decidan por un modelo 10º aniversario, podrán adquirir distintos elementos de equipamiento a un precio excepcional.
La nueva Sherco 10º aniversario es un homenaje al buque insignia de la marca y a todos los modelos que han salido de las instalaciones de Caldes de Montbui en los últimos años. El diseño gráfico de la nueva moto evoca una gran elegancia complementado con un chasis acabado en gris, que confieren al conjunto un plus de belleza. La carrocería de líneas suaves y estilizadas, combina colores identificativos que han acompañado a la marca a lo largo de estos primeros diez años, como son el rojo, amarillo y negro.
A nivel técnico la nueva Sherco 10º aniversario esconde pocos secretos. El elevado nivel técnico de los modelos de la marca, han hecho que se confiara en la gran calidad de todos los elementos para equipar esta nueva moto. La versión 3.2 4 tiempos equipa como novedad el revolucionario sistema SPS (Sherco prompt system) desarrollado por el departamento técnico, con el cual se garantiza la respuesta inmediata del motor a cualquier régimen. Entre los dos modelos de 2 y 4 tiempos, tan solo se fabricarán 200 unidades identificadas con una placa numerada en la parte alta del chasis.

Sherco has released a new series of 50 Enduro and Supermotard models, with a new image based on four colors, green, orange, blue and a combination color. The mechanical portion of the new series maintains the tried and true Minarelli AM6 liquid cooled engine that was used in the former models. The four models are available in both Enduro and Supermotard versions. In addition, in the Supermotard version the spectacular Black Panther model is an option. All of the various versions have been the object of various improvements and have received several revised components, with the objective of making the Sherco 50cc models the most desirable in the class.

La base mecánica de la nueva serie mantiene la misma configuración que sus predecesoras, basadas en el exitoso motor Minarelli AM6 de refrigeración líquida. Los cuatro modelos están disponibles en versión enduro y supermotard. Además en supermotard debe añadirse la espectacular Black Phanter que junto con sus nuevas hermanas han sido objeto de una nueva mejora respecto a la anterior serie, en una completa revisión de sus componentes con el objetivo se seguir al frente de la competida categoría de motos de 50 c.c.

The four times Moto GP Racing World Champion has always been a great fan of Trials and he will now be able to fully utilize his new Sherco. The new Sherco that Loris has is equipped with the recently premiered SPS system (Sherco Prompt System) which is an exclusivity of the Sherco brand. This system was developed in order to provide instantaneous motor response, in any situation from the 4T design.

Outstanding performance by Sherco riders in Finland

Peter Weckman won first place in the veteran class in a recent enduro which was held in Finland, during three days they raced 1000 kilometers. Weckman won the race on his Sherco 5.1i. His racing partner Tomi, also had an outstanding ride, he was in first place in his class but had to abandon when night time arrived because of a broken headlight.
Peter Weckman logró la victoria en la categoría veteranos en una prueba de enduro en Finlandia, en la que a lo largo de tres días se recorrieron 1000 kms. Weckman consiguió ganar con la Sherco 5.1i. Por su parte su compañero Tomi también tuvo un actuación destacada, y solo la rotura de las lámparas al llegar la noche le impidieron continuar después de acabar el día en los primeros puestos.

Sherco made its desert debut in the Rally of Tunez, a 9 day marathon race which was held in the African desert. The CrocoAdventures equipped rider, Laurent Gat finished in 30th place in the 9 day race. The motorcycle used by the French rider was a specially prepared Sherco 4.5i which was extensively modified in order to compete in this type of desert rally.
Con motivo del Rallye de Tunez, Sherco hizo su debut en pruebas maratón en Africa. El equipo CrocoAventures con el piloto Laurent Le Gat consiguió la posición 30 después de 9 días de carrera. La moto utilizada por el piloto francés fue una Sherco 4.5i adaptada a las características de las pruebas raid.

Sherco riders had a good first round in the Italian Enduro Championship. In a race which had nearly 300 participants, a very demanding route and a persistent rain, Marco Brioschi finished third in the 250 class, Daniele Gisutelli also finished third in the 450 class. Marco Caribotti was less fortunate in the 500 class as a fall forced him to retire.
Los pilotos de Sherco tuvieron un buen estreno en el campeonato italiano de enduro. En una carrera con casi 300 participantes y un recorrido exigente, además de una persistente lluvia, Marco Brioschi consiguió la tercera posición en 250, así como Daniele Gisutelli en 450. Menos afortunado estuvo Marco Caribotti en la clase 500 en la que una caída le obligó a retirarse.

Sherco riders Glenn Phillipoom, Sjaak van Bezouw and Mike Miltenburg, won first, second and third places respectively and filled the podium in the youth class of the Trials Championship of Holland.

The current Australian trials champion, Colin Zarczynski has chosen the new Sherco 3.2 4T to contest the 2008 trials season, following in the footsteps of the top Sherco riders. After winning 3 Australian titles with the 2T, Colin has decided to go with the motor with valves. He made his decision based on the excellent characteristics of the 4T motor.
El campeón australiano de trial, Colin Zarczynski ha elegido la nueva Sherco 3.2 4T para afrontar la temporada 2008 de trial, emulando así a los mejores pilotos de la marca que también han pasado a pilotar el motor de válvulas. Después de conseguir 3 título australianos con la 2 tiempos, Colin empezó a entrenar nada más acabar la temporada pasada con la 4T, optando por el cambio ante las excelentes prestaciones del nuevo motor.
New importer for the Sherco Enduro line in Great Britain

In January of 2008, the Sherco Enduro model line importer for Great Britain became the responsibility of Paul Massey. The objective is to establish the full Enduro model line in the United Kingdom. The models being imported include the 4.5i, the 5.1i and as soon as it is released the new 2.5i.
Desde principio de año, la representación de la gama de enduro de Sherco en Gran Bretaña es responsabilidad de Paul Massey. El objetivo es implantar los modelos de enduro en el reino unido, basados en las Sherco 4.5i y la 5.1i, a la que se unirá la nueva 2.5i de concepción completamente nueva.
Luck does not ride with Joly in the World Enduro Championship

Jeremy Joly obtained his first points in the 2008 World Enduro Championship in the Grand Prix of Spain which was held in Sitges. After returning from Portugal without any points he was hoping to do well in Spain. The sandy land of the Catalan coast greeted the riders with a mixture of extremely sandy beaches along with dry dusty conditions. Joly placed tenth on the first day and finished eight on the second day in very difficult conditions. After three races he is in 19th place in the provisional classification. In the French Championship, Joly has three consecutive podiums and after three rounds is in second place overall.
Jeremy Joly consiguió sus primeros puntos en el campeonato del mundo de enduro 2008 en el Gran Premio de España, disputado en Sitges. Después de regresar de Portugal en blanco, el terreno arenoso de la costa catalana puso a prueba a los pilotos con una especial extrema en la playa de Sitges y un recorrido muy seco y polvoriento. Con todo Joly logró la décima plaza el primer día y la octava el segundo en unas condiciones difíciles. De esta forma el piloto francés se encuentra en la posición 19 de la clasificación provisional después de tres carreras. En el campeonato francés, Joly lleva tres podios consecutivos y tras haberse disputada tres pruebas se encuentra clasificado en la segunda plaza de la tabla.
Cabestany prevails in Spain
Cabestany triunfa en EspaÑa
Albert Cabestany achieved the first victory in the Spanish outdoor Trials Championship on the Sherco 3.2 4T. This victory was obtained in the last lap of the test which was held in Fraga, Albert was penalized only one point in the victory. In the same test, Dani Oliveras finished sixth. With this result, Cabestany is the leader in category TR1 and is in third place in the overall classification. In the World Championship round which was held in the United States, Albert finished on the podium the first day with a third place finish but on the second day he was not so fortunate, he had to settle for seventh place. Albert is fourth in the provisional standings and Oliveras is ninth.
Albert Cabestany logró la primera victoria en el Campeonato de España de trial outdoor a los mandos de la Sherco 3.2 4T. Este triunfo lo consiguió en la última prueba disputada en Fraga en la que Cabestany tan solo penalizó con un punto. En la misma prueba, Dani Oliveras consiguió la sexta plaza. Con este resultado, Cabestany se sitúa líder del certamen en la categoría TR1 y tercero en la clasificación absoluta. En el mundial, Cabestany, después de conseguir subir al podio en la primera jornada en el trial de Estados Unidos, en la segunda jornada no estuvo tan afortunado y debió conformarse con la séptima plaza. Con todo el piloto de Sherco ocupa la cuarta posición provisional, mientras que Oliveras es noveno.
