In a venue where he always has good results, Albert Cabestany had high hopes for this third round of the Championship.

The Marseille round of the X-trial Championship was held over two evenings, this particular round had long technical sections.

The Friday qualifications went well for Albert, Alexandre Ferrer was not so lucky. Not being used to the indoor sections that were also very difficult, Alexandre accumulated 41 points which did not allow him to qualify for the final.

At the end of Saturday, a 5 in the second section saw Albert Cabestany quickly move from second to third place. Toni Bou won this race followed by Adam Raga and then Albert Cabestany. This third place finish keeps Albert even on points with Adam Raga for the Championship.
